This procedure to get the Lipa Na Mpesa charges applies to all M-pesa Kenya transactions that use Lipa Na M-PESA Till Number with the Buy Goods option:
- Dial *234#
- Enter 2 for Tariff Query
- Answer with 5 for Lipa na M-PESA
- Enter Paybill Number or Merchant Till Number
- Enter the amount charged by the business
- You will receive an SMS notification of how much it would cost to make the payment for that amount to that Paybill number.
You need the business Paybill number/ Merchant Till number to find the corresponding Lipa na Mpesa charges.
